Neon Drift Rally
Neon Drift Rally doesn't pretend to be a simulator. It's pure arcade joy — tilt or tap to steer, hold to drift, chain drifts for boost. The tracks loop through this gorgeous neon city at night and the sense of speed is excellent.
I ended up preferring the tap controls over tilt. Tilt feels fun for about ten minutes until your wrists get tired and you drift into a wall. The tap setup gives you two steering zones and a drift button, and it's precise enough for the harder tracks.
This is the one that'll eat your battery. High speed plus heavy lighting effects means your phone gets warm fast, and a long session noticeably drained mine. Shorter runs are the way to go, and there's a graphics toggle that tones down the glow if you want longer sessions.
