About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept arguing about which games were worth the storage space. At some point we figured we should just write things down properly, so here we are. The idea is simple: play a game long enough to have a real opinion, then explain it without the hype.
We don't review something after twenty minutes. Most games get at least a few evenings, sometimes a week, because a lot of mobile titles feel great early and fall apart later. We pay attention to the stuff reviews usually skip — how hot your phone gets, whether the touch controls actually work, how the game behaves on a cheaper device.,We pick games across every genre, not just the trendy ones. RPGs, racing, strategy, little casual time-killers — if people are playing it, we want to understand why. Nobody pays us to feature a title, and we'll say when something isn't worth it.,It's a small team and we like it that way. If you spot a mistake or want to argue with a score, the inbox is open. We read everything, even the angry ones.
